Newest Staff Member: Welcome the Buddah!

Hello everyone I want to welcome the newest member to the ADP staff on here which is Michael Demartino (Pissedoffbuddah). He's been quite dedicated to the group so far so I think he deserves to be part of the main staff. He is a very positive and funny person and he has a lot to give to the group as a friend, voice actor, writer and now a leader. Congratulations, don't fuck up! lol As a staff member Buddah will be able to host events and help with scheduling and other things for the group. He also has a guaranteed spot in the meetings and podcasts. Although he is now a leader please contact me for the urgent ADP questions.

Staff Changes

Recently I have made great staff changes to After Dark Productions. I have demoted Nick (IKL Dead Man) and kicked him out because of many reasons I don't need to get into on here. I am as of now demoting Trey Johnson because there is too much lack of communication for him to be a leader. Lastly I'm demoting Taylor Eby for the moment because I need to see what he's capable of before letting him be a leader. Me, Shawn and Ed will remain leaders. As for other ADP news I've been fairly busy with other stuff which is why I've been falling behind a little bit. I will be removing many things off of the calendar within the next few days and I will hopefully finish the site too. I'll be making changes to the YouTube, Vimeo and this blog this week. I understand you're all a little stressed with me but just bare with me. It will all be okay. I'll most likely write a lot of shit for movies and just let Shawn take care of it right now because I'm trying to set up my art company and I'm also trying to start a podcasting network with another Sean I know so I'm busy to say the least. I am selling my Pinnacle-510 USB very soon on eBay and trading in for a Pinnacle Video Transfer because it's portable and it's nearly impossible for it to lag and the quality is good too. Alright, well ttyl.

Point Blank

As you have all known, I have been working on a script for quite some time now, but i have finally finished episode 1 of it. The title is "Point Blank" and it is still subject to change at the moment. This machinima so far is mostly original and portrays the life of two assassins. The genre right now is action/adventure. I have been 'suspended' from Xbox Live

When I first saw this, I was all WTF how did this happen? Was it Jeff? What did I do? But then I remembered that I made a new Bio with the word 'Fuck' in it. oooOOOooooOOOoooo big deal. I wrote a word. Yea so its not a huge deal, I'm gunna get it back on the 24th which is tomorrow. Im going to use this day to catch up on filming and writing the script. Last night Me, Sarge, Gip, and iEATatWAHOOS filmed for the pilot TRAXUS. I got alot of footage this morning before I realized what happened. So anyway. End post

P.S. My capture card didnt work with my computer so I will be putting the film clips on my file share, than sarge or trey or someone else who has a working cap card can capture them for me and send them to me for editing

Holy Crap! A non Freddy post!?!?!

Hello All. I am the infamous ShadowSpy. As Gip mentioned, We are currently working on the script and have actually finished the opener, which will be released seperately to the main film. We will be filming soon, and I am not sure of the right time. I did film some yesturday with IEATWAHOOS... Im not sure if thats spelled correctly. Anyway, I think i will need to film a quick little shot of a bunch of charecters on LIVE so how about... tonight? Oh isnt there a conference or something tonight? O well, we will work it out.

ADP Weekly Heads-Up #2:

Hey peeps what's up? Not much goin on tonight. Shawn and I are going to film a preview for Havoc Force in the next few days which will introduce viewers to the storyline a little easier and give them something to look forward, the series. I have only casted 2 people so far from ADP to characters and they will be revealed in the next post. Other than that, not much else is goin on. I've changed the YouTube Channel, and I've added some things to this blog as you can see. I know it seems like we're not doing much but just bare with me everyone, it will all work out fine. I am making a new Vimeo group since Trey is still gone. Hopefully when he gets back we can pick back up where we left off on our UNTITLED project. Since I really can't think of too much to say I'll just end this. Goodbye.

Oops! I Did It Again!

Hey everybody I know I fucked up royally last night when we didn't have our first game night. There was a lack of communication between me and Nick about who was hosting the event so when I tried contacting him to tell him to host it I couldn't get a hold of him. Although Infection Night was missed Shawn and I started writing the script for Havoc Force last night. Tonight's set designing session is still on though so I hope you can come. I will be making several different logos for Havoc Force for you guys to choose from within the next day or two. I decided last night, fuck the newsletter it's really not that important, just one more thing for me to get hung up on and distracted by. I'm still fucking around with the website but it will look good so don't worry.

Our filming for the Weapon Lowering video on Friday could have gone A LOT better. Half of the reason was because THE PUPPETEERS WHO VOLUNTEERED DIDN'T SHOW UP! NOT A SINGLE ONE! SO WE HAD RANDOM PEOPLE COME IN THE PARTY AND HELP! Next time you decide to be an asshole and fail your obligations don't do it to ADP because the other leaders and I don't have the time or patience to deal with that kind of shit. The other reason why it went bad was something that happened on my part. I messed up on Forging the map for filming. My bad. I am currently writing the rest of that video so we can film ASAP. Sarge has told me that his capture card situation is hectic at the moment so I'll most likely have Nick film. I am in the process of getting a new capture card soon so that's why I'm not filming.

I have been told by many of you that after you looked at the calendar you were a little concerned for you have school and must hit the sack earlier. I guess I forgot about this since I'm going to high school online this year. I will make time changes to the calendar within this next week so it will fit your schedule a little bit better.

ADP Weekly T.G.I.F. Update #1: Hai Guys!

Hai guys, it r me Freddy. lolololololololol. Just kidding! Anyways the first Skype conference went pretty well last night and the Pregame Lobby meeting went good a few nights ago also. We are filming tonight for our next group video. We are filming a weapon-lowering video short in support of the Bnet Group trying to convince Bungie to enable weapon lowering in online Custom Games and Forge for use in machinima. The weapon lowering video will consist of a few short skits and then it will show Offline clips of me and Sarge discussing the importance of weapon lowering on Xbox LIVE for machinima. Filming will be in my party at 9 PM Central Time. If you don't follow instructions from me and Sarge I can and I will fucking boot you! I mean it. This is important to us so don't mess around. Sarge just got his capture card today so what will most likely happen is Sarge will film to get used to it and he will send me the footage to edit because I need to be able to know my way around Vegas. Win win! Sarge is writing a new machinima but he really hasn't told me much about it so maybe he can post on here himself. I know Nick will be fairly busy with one of his movies pretty soon here so I will probably be the one helping Sarge. I need to mention that Nick is working on a movie called Forge Toughied I believe it's called. It's about a group of beta testers for Bungie that play Cold Storage on 7/6/08 a day before Bungie Day in a Team Slayer match. Please note that they are in a universe where Forge does not exist in Halo 3 so the story gets weird for the testers when they are picked off by an unknown enemy with inanimate objects. I know Nick will fucking slap me if I say too much so he can tell you the epic story himself : ) . As far as other machinima news goes Shadowspy9730 and I have finally worked out a basic storyline for our newest machinima idea, Havoc Force. The name was Crisis Force but apparently it was too reminiscent to Justice League or A-Team according to our members so fuck that name. I will make another separate post that contains the info on that, so don't you worry. I'm sorry I failed to post a podcast or meeting recap this week but here's why. MY schedule was a little hectic because I was just ungrounded so I was a little lazy. I didn't record a podcast because I forgot to write up show ideas for it. Oops! I did not post the meeting recap because there wasn't a whole lot of info that I wasn't going to include in the blog updates, so yeah. As you can see I updated the blog in little ways by taking advantage of Blogspot's new built-in Gadget feature. Not only can we add the same basics as before (RSS feeds, Pics, Links) but now we can also add many other useful things such as the ADP Gamercard you can see on the right. There is a lot of other miscellaneous shit I could add like games and clocks, and YouTube search bars but I won't because before you know it, it will start to look like your shitty MySpace page, you internet meme whore : ) . What I am adding though is a Subscribe link for your emails or phones and I am also adding the RSS feed for the podcast when it's released every Friday starting next week. Could you please vote on the poll on the right bar? I need to know whether or not you guys give a shit if I make a newsletter or not for the ADP. I'm receiving quite a few new applications so keep them coming and if you're already in the group please recruit your friends. We are always looking for new members. ADP Weekly Heads-Up #1

Hey everybody, as you can see I added a few links to the sidebar including the Application Form, the YouTube Channel and the ADP Schedule. I advise strongly that you look at the schedule so you are always in the ADP loop. The meeting will be tomorrow night at 9 PM Central in my Pregame Lobby. The website is currently under construction and should be done in a few weeks or so. The only thing I'm still having trouble with is creating HTML frames for the staff page. If you'd like to help me with this please let me know. Just want to let everyone know the filming for the weapon lowering short is on Friday at 9 PM Central. A New Beginning

Well recently there's been a lot of changes to After Dark Productions. We've kicked out members, recruited new members, and now I'm finally getting my head straight so we can get back on track. With the removal of Peezy Bro, ADP is no longer contributing to his series "Cell Block 23" I feel that this is a good choice because I just didn't see eye-to-eye with him on most things. I will either find a widget or calendar creator to post the ADP schedule on this blog so all of you, the members will easily know what's going on.
I should also note that recently I was a victim of identity theft on my favorite communication program, Skype. The culprit was none other than my former friend Jeff Mathwig. I do not feel that I need to go into details but if you see someone on Skype who goes by the display name of Gip007 it is not me because I always have and always will go by Freddy Gipson on Skype. Sorry for the trouble the impostor may have caused you. I know the clan's going through some rough times right now but just bare with me and the other leaders because I can assure you all we are trying everything in our power to keep this clan alive. Even while grounded I've been discussing plans for ADP with other leaders Nick, Trey, Sarge, Shawn and Tyler.
I have a few new movie ideas that I will unveil officially on Tuesday night's Pregame Lobby meeting. I understand that many of you are unaware of this meeting so I will tell you. The first official ADP meeting will be held in a Pregame Lobby by me Gip007. The meeting is on Tuesday, August 12th at 9 PM Central Time and will last around 1-2 hours. During this meeting the leaders will talk about their upcoming projects and the help they need. During this meeting members can also pitch their own ideas and ask any questions related to ADP. If all the slots are filled or you can't attend the meeting, a text recap of the meeting will be posted on the blog with the questions asked so it will be like you never missed a thing.
I would like you all to know that leader Trey won't be on LIVE til August 19th or 20th because he is away from Germany and vacationing in the states during this time. Lazy fucking bastard. lol.
I am currently working on the official ADP website and it should be done by the end of August. Like I said above I will find a way to post ADP's schedule on here. I will also make an application form for new members who want to join ADP, and you will find that on the sidebar. I am also going to design this blog to match the website when it's finished.
Finally, to wrap things up. Here is Nick's new HMV "Until The Day I Die" featuring the title song by Story of the Year. Nick admits it's a little rough but he's getting better with editing.

After Dark Update 1: 7/22/08

Hello everyone, Freddy here and I have some news that will hopefully cheer up all of you. First off, I will be ungrounded on august 11th which may seem bad but it's not because ADP will still have nearly a month of summer left to make movies. The first few projects we will be making are going to be pretty sweet if made successfully. Here's the lineup.

Unchosen Fate: When two friends Jason and Cody summon Death onto Earth one of them gets possessed which is bad because it can possibly give Death unlimited power and no rules which will lead to Jason's biggest battle, kill Cody or let the Earth end as we know it? This series will be in 3 parts with 3 acts for each so essentially we hope to have nine episodes.

The Burger King Chronicles (Name isn't final and it may change): The epic workdays of great Burger King employees are caught on tape in this epic quest for fast food glory.

UNTITLED: This series isn't really untitled but we are keeping the title and the content secret for now but more details will be revealed along the way so keep your eye out for viral marketing on this blog, Halo Grid, YouTube and HaloTube.

As for other news, Peezy is giving all of our editors with Adobe After Effects a lot of cool plugin packs that will help greatly in the editing process. Thanks Peezy Bro. One of our directors Trey is getting his HD capture card soon so he will be the main filmer for ADP. Once I'm ungrounded I will go in Photoshop and make up some sexy graphics to spice up the look of this blog. Last but definitely not least I have finished the template for ADP's website and the site should be done a week or two after I get back. That's all for now. Peace.
